Moana run the Nippers program for children from 5-13. We have nippers on a Saturday afternoon every week, on a Saturday afternoon from 1.30-4pm. This involves our nippers education, surf skills development and beach awareness and safety.

All Age groups are managed by a member, usually a parent who has completed the Age group manager’s course. This is a very easy process, and we like to have a male and a female for each age group. Our parent community is crucial to the operation of nippers, and it is an expectation that all parents are involved in managing the nippers on a weekly basis. We have a junior coordinator who can be contacted at juniorcoordinator@moanaslsc.com.au
Limit of 30 children.
The minis start each Saturday 1at 2.30 and finish at 3.30pm. A parent is required to stay with their child for the duration of the session each week. We do provide each child with a bucket hat and a High Vis rash vest. Their program is very game based.
We always try to open up our club room and the bar for parents and friends to socialise after the nippers have finished. This provides a great opportunity to meet new friends and network and join in the movement.
We do require all nipper parents to have a current WWCC and a police check. We are a safe environment and we thank you for helping us to provide a safe place for our most vulnerable groups of young people.
